Located in SE Europe, Romania reaches its highest point on Făgăraș’s Moldoveanu Peak (2545 m.a.s.l.). Without being too high, the mountains here are interesting through their being very diverse scenery - wise. I have posted here some pictures I took in various ranges across the country. From the rugged ridges of the Piatra Craiului, to the dry Măcin, wooden Bistrița, cave-filled Apuseni or pasture-covered Bârgău, I hope you will like them.
